Full Item Traceability

TagworX allows you to trace unique instances of a single product or SKU, individually tracking serial numbers. While conventional WMS solutions will allow you to track the bin locations a SKU is supposed to be stored in, TagworX will let you see where each individual item actually is.

Items can be bundled together into kits, allowing you to manage groups of components consistently used together. Batch and expiry date tracking is also supported, making it easy to locate and dispose of expired or recalled stock. In addition, TagworX is heavily customisable, allowing you to add your own fields in a number of formats: silo your products into categories, record manufacturers or pricing, attach images—whatever information you need.

As well as viewing the current location of an item, you can see the full location history, following each individual item on its journey through your facility. TagworX allows you to associate fixed RFID antennas with locations, automatically updating the location each time a reader ‘sees’ a tag. You can also manually update the location with a handheld reader and the mobile app.

If you have multiple facilities, you can easily batch your locations together into top-level locations and sub-locations, allowing you to see a top-level view of how many items are at each site. The Capacity Dashboard tool allows you to see at a glance how much stock you have across all locations and sub-locations—and it, if you set minimum and maximum stock quantities on a product, it can also show you which locations have less—or more—stock than required.

Easy Stocktakes and Order Management

The stock check flow allows mobile app users to quickly compare what stock is expected at a location against what a handheld reader can actually find, with full visual feedback on what stock is located, missing, or out of place. You can assign stock checks to users via the web portal, then view the results and take action accordingly. The flow can be customised to automatically update or remove stock based on a check, or be used for informational purposes only.

The flexible orders flow lets you set up the exact process guardrails you need to make sure the correct stock gets where it needs to be, when it needs to be. Scan with a handheld reader to make sure all items are accounted for on despatch, receipt, or both. You can also set up signature conformation and proof of delivery emails for full traceability and accountability.

Detailed Reporting

TagworX provides full exportable reports, so you can see exactly what’s happening when:

  • See the current status and location of every item in the system
  • Quickly locate expired items or specific batches for recall
  • Find out where you’re overstocked or understocked
  • View all automatic updates and user actions

Streamlined Connections

While it can be used standalone, TagworX is even more powerful when used alongside your existing ERP, accounting system, or WMS. It can integrate with other software, like Sage or Microsoft Dynamics, using FTP or REST APIs. You can easily import orders from your other systems, or automatically send out up-to-date stock counts and location updates.

TagworX also features connectivity with label printing software like NiceLabel and BarTender, allowing you to print your RFID labels directly from the TagworX portal.
